  • Soya chunks: 7- 8 in number,
  • Rice, cooked: 1 bowl,
  • Oil: 1 ½ tsp,
  • Jeera: 1 tsp,
  • Green peas, boiled: 2 tsp,
  • Salt: from your prescribed daily allowance.

Directions

  • Soak soya chunks in warm water overnight. Drain the water.
  • Take oil in a pan, add jeera and allow it to turn brown. Now add boiled green peas and soya chunks.
  • Saute for 1 minute and then add cooked rice.
  • Serve hot.

Note : This recipe is a high protein recipe and is suitable for patients undergoing hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysis. Diabetic patients can prefer taking broken wheat (dalia) or oats instead of rice.
