Green peas and paneer parathas

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour, strained: 1 ½ big katori,
  • Wheat flour, strained: ½ small katori for dusting,
  • Green peas, boiled, crushed: ½ katori,
  • Paneer, grated: 1/4th katori,
  • Green garlic, chopped: 1 ½ tsp,
  • Salt: from prescribed daily allowance,
  • Ginger paste: 1/4th tsp,
  • Green chilli paste: 1/4th tsp,
  • Roasted jeera powder: ½ tsp,
  • Amchur powder: 1/4th tsp,
  • Oil: 3 tsp

Directions

  • Knead dough from wheat flour to prepare parathas.
  • For the filling, in a pan take 1 tsp oil, add boiled, crushed green peas, grated paneer, finely chopped green garlic, salt, jeera powder, ginger-green chilli paste, amchur powder and mix well. Roast the mixture till it becomes dry. Allow it to cool at room temperature.
  • Now make a roll a small paratha and add the above filling by making it into a ball and filling it in the centre of paratha. Seal all the ends by gathering them together.
  • Now roll this paratha by using wheat flour for dusting.
  • Roast it on a non-stick pan using 1 tsp oil.
  • Serve hot with garlic and coriander chutney.
