Ingredients

Poha (Rice flakes): 20 gms (1/4 cup),

Boiled potato: 40gms (1  medium sized),

Paneer:25 gm (1/4 cup),

Onion,chopped:10gm (2 tsp),

Carrot,chopped: 5gm (1tsp),

Oil: 5gm (1 tsp),

Green chilli paste:1/4 tsp,

Ginger paste:1/4 tsp,

Lemon: 3-4 drops,

Turmeric: pinch,

Red chilli powder: pinch

Directions

  • Sprinkle little water on poha till they are moistened.
  • To it add boiled potato, paneer, onion and carrot.
  • Add salt from the prescribed daily salt allowance.
  • Now add chilli paste, ginger paste, turmeric ,red chilli powder and lemon.
  • Mix well and make two flat balls from this dough.
  • Now press it into shape of your choice.
  • Shallow fry them on a non-stick pan till they turn brown on both the sides.
