Dalia (broken wheat): ½ cup (25g)

Moong dal: 1tsp (5g)

Onion, chopped: ¼ cup (10g)


Carrot:                  chopped, ¼ cup (10g)


Paneer, grated: ¼ wati (10g)

Oil: 1 tsp (5ml)

Jeera: ¼ tsp

Garlic: 1- 2 cloves

Salt: from the prescribed daily allowance

Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp

Red chilli powder: ¼ tsp

Dhania powder: ¼ tsp

Curd as accompaniment, if required

Take oil in a pressure cooker, add jeera to it and allow it to turn brown and add chopped garlic.

Now add chopped onions, saute till onions turn pink,

Now add the remaining vegetables, saute them for 2-3 mins.

Add dalia, moong dal and paneer.

Add salt and the remaining masalas and water.

Allow it to simmer for 2-3 mins.

Now pressure cook it on a medium flame.

Serve hot.
