The Apex Team holds group counselling session for the patients and their family members to share experiences with other patients in similar situations.
The counselors and patients share their experiences with all and explain how they were able to get over the restrictions caused by dialysis in their lives.
You are not alone
The counselors also try to tackle any sort of difficulties the patients are having. Thee program tries to solve a three fold objective as follows
- Address various problems of the patients
- Increase the patient support network
- Educate patients of best practices in treatment
- Make the patient aware about various other ways their lives could be bettered
